So many of you wrote about Rick's memorial show. We know you wanted to be there. It was a tremendous day. I had an interview earlier and had gotten very emotional when asked to recall Rick. Man. I wondered how I was going to get through the day! But, even though many of us were concerned about this very thing, it turned out to be a fun and loving afternoon. Lori was there looking beautiful. Hunter and R.J. made an appearence, bringing tears to everyone's eyes. And we all stayed sober...even Jerry. I don't know yet how much was raised, but every cent will be helpful. My friend Allan bought Rick's B5 jacket for a $500 contribution. Everyone was most generous. Please, if you were able to attend and wish to write us about it, please do. Barb will post it.
Bruce summed it up for everyone at the close of the signings. "Let's do this every year!" Maybe we will. We certainly will remember our dear wonderful Rick.
