Hello old friends!

Thank you for visiting Kosh.org and for supporting KOSHKLUB. Webmaster Dennis and Klubprez Silvia have done a fantastic job pulling KOSHKLUB together and I appreciate their efforts.

My goal with this posting is to inform you of past, present and future events that I think you might find interesting.  I hope to continue the traditions of the Vorlon Perspective that I wrote for the Babylon 5 magazine.  I'll try to always give you the behind the scenes view.

For those of you who might be new to all this B5 stuff, I'm Jeffrey Willerth.

I had the great fortune to write every episode of Babylon 5.  No wait, I directed every episode ... yeah that's it! No wait.      Writing and directing were about the only two things I didn't do on B5. But if JMS would have just done the sixth season, I probably could have!

During the five seasons of B5, I was a background extra, playing every human and alien imaginable ... a stand-in ... stuntperson ... an actor (Ambassador Kosh) ... a production assistant ... B5 fan club director ... B5 website developer ... producer's associate ... and production company flirt.

I'm very proud of my accomplishments at Babylonian, honored to have met the cast and crew, cherish the friendships that were made, and proud to have been part of one of the most innovative programs ever broadcast.   In August, I joined a long and distinguished list of talented professional who had been asked to leave the show, after participating in the series preproduction and production of the first two episodes of Crusade.

After five seasons of dedication and a zero ceremony departure (bitter?..no!) I took a month just to chill out, calm down and refocus on the future.  It was great to have a serious summer vacation filled with quality time spent with my extremely excellent girlfriend, Patricia Tallman, and our purpose for living, son Julian.

September and October were spent working as a Visual Effects Coordinator on two Miramax films, "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" and "The Faculty". I'm about to travel to Utah for a few weeks to be with Patricia while she works on a big movie.  I have several different projects in the works right now, but none will start for a while, so I might as well seize the chance to get away while I can, right?

As I write this, we're only a few of days away from VOR, Voice of the Resistance convention in Pomona, CA.  I expect it is going to be a huge show as almost every B5 celebrity except JMS will be there.  I hope to update this every couple of weeks, so I will report on my VOR adventures next time, and start to answer your questions about B5 history then.

Again, thanks for the support!

Jeffrey
